We come from West Sussex  and our youngest daughter married a lovely Cornish man on the 6th September 2014 in Cornwall. We had never left Millie with anyone since we first got her in January 2013 as she is a rescue dog who suffers from anxiety issues occasionally. We were both extremely anxious at the thought of having to find someone that would be the right person for Millie, and fortunately we struck lucky with Gail and Tom, who were both very caring, sensitive and understanding people, who made us and Millie feel at ease straight away. We left her for 7 1/2 hours and she was very relaxed and happy when my husband collected her to join us at the wedding reception. We will definitely use Happy Tails in the future. When our old spaniel was too old for kennels or friends, we were more than pleased to find Happy Tails in the Roseland Parish Magazine. Not only were Gail and Tom able to look after the old girl 24/7 but it was so easy to leave our house in their care. Gail is invaluable on days out, looking in to check the dogs and take them for walks. Happy Tails is a great find! – Heather and Colin

 We were away on holiday for nearly two weeks. Gail and Tom were wonderful in looking after Inca and Maya while we were away. I first contacted Happy Tails for a drop in visit when I had to leave my gang for a long day and it was such a success that they now come whenever I am obliged to be away. The text letting me know that Gail and Tom have arrived and that all is well is very reassuring and I come home to dogs that are pleased to see me without being manic. Although I never go on holiday without them, as a single dog owner I am very relieved to have found someone totally reliable and caring who I would be happy to have in my home looking after my dogs in the event of an emergency. Happy Tails are a delight. Dilly and Teddy love them. They have a super walk, sometimes with friends and sometimes on their own. I nearly always get a Facebook piccie and I couldn’t be happier. Happy dogs means happy me! – Sue

I first contacted Happy Tails when I wanted to come off nightshifts and go onto dayshifts. I had been worried as I had no-one to let the dogs out in the day as my partner works as well. I was told about Tom & Gail through a friend and decided to contact them. I was impressed that they wanted to meet the dogs first and to have a chat about what we wanted them to do. At first Flo wasn’t impressed! She had massive anxieties about strangers and she hated other dogs! Effy was only 4 months old so she wasn’t too bad. Well, all I can say is having Tom & Gail to walk our dogs is the best thing we have ever done. They are flexible, caring and I can go to work with total peace of mind knowing the dogs are well looked after. Flo and Effy mix well with people and dogs now! They get a great walk or a run on the beach! Tom & Gail have helped us out very last minute with walks & have gone out their way to fit us in! They are lifesavers and Effy & Flo adore them.
